Laser Liposuction Corrects Post Liposuction Bumps, Lumps and Skin Irregularities

Non laser liposuction is the most common plastic surgery procedure in the world. Yet as many as 20% of people who have had this surgery have skin irregularities, lumps, bumps and wavy lines on the skin after non-laser liposuction. Many more people complain about loose skin after non-laser liposuction. The new laser liposuction performing fat removed, but also leaves your skin smooth with no lumps, bumps, undulating lines and skin irregularities are called contour deformities. This new laser liposuction technology is a revolutionary advances in plastic surgery and in particular it is liposculpting area and body contouring. The new laser liposuction allows the plastic surgeon to melt and remove fat, tighten skin and really achieve accurate Body Shaping and body contouring and provide smooth tight skin in almost all body area for the first time.

What causes lumps, bumps and skin irregularities?

The traditional operation to remove fat by creating a high pressure suction in a metal called cannulas, which is inserted under the skin on the suction or vacuum out the fat from under the skin. This is quite a traumatic process that fat is largely avulsed or torn from its place under the skin. There is also a ‘blind’ procedure, which is the surgeon can not quite see exactly where the fat has been removed because the procedure is done under the skin and not under direct supervision. It is therefore easy for areas of fat to be missed or left behind after the suction process. These areas of fat still appear as lumps or nodules, the contour deformation after the patient has healed form the procedure, usually between 6 weeks and 3 months.

Skin depressions and wavy lines, the second contour deformities occur because the suction tube or needle is placed too close to the bottom of the skin and suction or pull out the fat that should be left to make your skin stay smooth looking. Surgeons always try to leave ½ inch of fat under the skin to make skin smooth smooth. But when the suction hose, needle, comes too close to the underside of the skin, it is important superficial fat layer is removed and a divot, depression or Va ; gig line on the skin may occur. In summary, contour deformities caused by:

· Irregular, inconsistent removal of fat under the skin

· Fat away near the bottom of the skin

· Loss of superficial layer of fat equalization

How to avoid laser-liposuction contour deformities?

Laser liposuction is done very differently. A small laser fiber is placed under the skin and to melt the fat in a thin liquid before suction occurs. As the procedure advances and the fat is liquid, it is very easy to cross the fiber to all the deep fat areas, so it is less likely that the surgeon will miss or leave behind any areas of fat that can be contour deformities.

The heat generated during the fat is dissolved also tightens the skin so that the loose skin will not remain after fat is removed.

Since fat has been dissolved in a thin liquid, removal is much easier and less traumatic than with the older technology. Tiny 2 mm and 3 mm needles, straws, can be used to gently aspirate or suction of liquid fat out. Fat is not pulled or ripped into chunks that occur with older suction techniques.

This makes it much less likely that this is the suction tube or needle will be forced too close to the surface of the skin and create a skin depression, divot, wavy line or deformed after fat removal is completed. In my experience over the past year I have not had a contour deformity after this new procedure. In summary, the new technique avoids loose skin and contour deformities of:

· Condensation fat before suctioning

· use of small instruments

· Gentle Technology

· Tightening of skin

How the new technology really old contour deformities from previous surgery?

The tiny fibers that are placed under the skin has a red flashing light visible through the skin. Because of this, for the first time that the surgeon can actually see exactly where he is active in the fat under the skin. Using this technique I use fiber to just treat and liquefy fat in the areas of lumps and bumps and contour irregularities. This allows me to remove lumps and bumps and skin level to the same level as the other areas surrounding the deformity.

In addition, I use the fiber to treat, smooth and tighten all the surrounding skin to create a consistent look throughout the skin surface. My results so far treat postoperative skin defects has been really fantastic. My patients have been “satisfied” with the improvement.
